My New Favorite Accessories

For the past few months I have been experiencing the joys of inhaling my Young Living oils all day long. How you ask? With these amazing diffuser necklaces!

Diffuser Necklace Young Living Essential Oils

Leather Diffuser Necklaces

I love the leather for diffusing so much that I have two different necklaces! They are so easy to use. You can just roll or drop the oil on the leather and enjoy the benefits of inhaling your Young Living Essential Oils all day long. Also, the leather can hold the scent of the oil for multiple days, depending on how much you use. Some of my favorite oils to use are Joy, Frankincense, and Lemon, Lavender, and Peppermint (all together). With diffuser necklaces, you don’t have to wait until your home to inhale you favorite oils. You can wear them around your neck all day long!

The first one is from Sacred Arrow Jewelry.  This necklace is a locket with the leather inside. When you order a locket necklace from Sacred Arrow, you will receive 3 pieces of leather so you can use a different one for different oils. Not to worry if you want to diffuse more than 3 different oils, after a couple of days you can reuse the leather with a different oil of choice.

Why I love Sacred Arrow is because of what they stand for. They are stay-at-home mammas that believe in God’s ability to heal. As a result, with every sale a portion of the profits go to buying Young Living’s Sacred Frankincense to send to cancer patients. How amazing is that!

The second one is from Lavender and Faith. I love the delicacy of this necklace and how simple it is to use. Simply roll on or drop the oil(s) to the back of the leather tear drop and away you go!

Lava Stone Diffuser Necklace

I was originally drawn to this necklace because of it’s simplicity and then the bonus was that I could put a drop of oil on it and get the aromatic benefits of the oils. One of the benefits of the lava stones is that everyday you can change what oil you are putting on the stone. I ordered this necklace from Cedar and Honey.

My good friend Amy at The Savvy Oiler is starting to make Lava Stone Diffuser Necklaces as well. Please feel free to contact her if you are interested.

In April, my family made a LARGE order! As part of the Essential Rewards program, every month there are freebies available when you order a certain amount of PV (product value which is usually equal to the dollar amount) and we were super excited with what was FREE this month.

Young Living Essential Rewards

Thieves Spray

Thieves Spray was a FREEBIE for us this month and I couldn’t be more excited with these! Thieves Spray is 100% therapeutic-grade essential oil made with Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus Radiata, Rosemary, Coconut Oil Extract & Pure Grain Alcohol.* With this amazing combination of essential oils, you can use Thieves Spray on door handles, toilet seats, countertops, even your hands!

Lavender Essential Oil

This month I ordered Lavender Essential Oil AND one was another FREEBIE! As you can guess, we LOVE Lavender! Lavender is great for supporting healthy skin and respriatory systems.* It’s also used for relaxing and balancing both physically and emotionally.* One of the ways we like to use lavender everyday is at bedtime. Because it’s so great for relaxing the mind and body, it’s great sprayed or rubbed on our pillows.

Sage Essential Oil

This is a new oil for my family and I’m excited to try it! Sage can be used for supporting a healthy metabolism as well for mental stimulation.* It can even be used for support during a woman’s monthly cycle.*

Melrose Essential Oil

This is another new oil for my family this month. Melrose essential oil is a blend of four oils:  Rosemary, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree Oil), Clove, and Niaouli.* Melrose is an essential oil that is great for supporting healthy skin and can also be great in the diffuser to purify the air.* As always, please make sure you are reading the labels on the bottles for safety in usage.

Lemon Essential Oil

This oil is another favorite in our house. Lemon essential oil can be used for many things, from supporting healthy skin and mental stimulation to a flavor enhancer. We love to put a drop or two in our GLASS water bottles because we love the flavor it adds. I also like to combine it with Lavender Essential Oil and Peppermint Essential Oil.

Harmony Essential Oil

This was another new oil for us this month and I was super excited to try it! Harmony essential oil is a blend of 17 different essential oils:  Sandalwood, Lavender, Ylang Ylang, Frankincense, Orange, Angelica, Geranium, Hyssop, Spanish Sage, Spruce, Coriander, Bergamot, Lemon, Jasmine, Roman Chamomile, Palmarosa, and Rose.* Like the name of this oil says, the oil is used for creating harmonic balance within your body both emotionally and physically.* So far, I’ve been using this oil in my daily routine by applying a drop on my solar plexus for emotional support.

Wintergreen Essential Oil

This oil was a new oil for us this month and it was one of the FREEBIES for this month! I don’t know if I mentioned this already or not, but I LOVE FREE STUFF, especially Young Living Essential Oils! Wintergreen is found in one of my FAVORITE oils, Deep Relief. Wintergreen can be used Topically, Internally and Aromatically. You can use this oil for sooth muscles after a hard workout, to ease head tension and to increase awareness.

Dorado Azul Essential Oil

Another new oil this month. Because I loved the FREEBIES so much this month, I took the opportunity to try out some of the oils that I’ve always wanted to add to my oil collection. A little background about Dorado Azul that I found interesting… Until about 2006 in Ecuador, Dorado Azul was only recognized as a weed.* It didn’t even have a name until Dr. Gary Young distilled it and analyzed it.* Now, this essential oil is used to support the respiratory system and hormones.*

Ravintsara Essential Oil

Ravintsara was another new oil for us this month. I haven’t tried it yet but it can be used to support the respiratory and nervous systems.* It can also be used to strengthen motivation.* Ravintsara can be used both Topically and Aromatically.

The last of our new oils this month and one that I was very excited to try! White Angelica is a blend consisting of 12 essential oils:  Myrrh, Bergamot, Sandalwood, Geranuim, Ylang Ylang, Spruce, Rosewood, Coriander, Hyssop, Melissa, Rose, and Angelica.* White Angelica is known for increasing and strengthening the aura around your body to bring a sense of protection.* It can also aid in your spirituality and give feelings of security.* This is another oil that has made in into my daily routine. I apply topically by putting a drop in my hands and starting at the crown of my head, I run my hands down my body.

My March Essential Rewards

Here is what my family ordered in March for our Essential Rewards order. If you are not a member of the Essential Rewards program yet, click here to find out how you can enroll today!

Young Living Essential Rewards

What is Lemon Essential Oil?

Lemon Essential Oil is cold pressed from the rind of the Citrus Limon tree.* Fun fact:  it takes 75 lemons to make one 15ml bottle of Young Living Lemon Essential Oil!* Lemon is great for skin care as well as for flavor, cleaning and cooking.

How do we use Lemon?

I ordered the Lemon sample packets because they are super convenient to transport but also to keep handy to give to friends and family as an introduction to Young Living Essential Oils. I must say that our favorite way to use Lemon is to just put it in our water and drink it! (But, if you do that, always make sure you are using only a glass or stainless steel container.) Drinking lemon is a great way to help build your immunity.

Lemon is also great when it is combined with Peppermint and Lavender Essential Oils. I love to use this combination in many different ways. The first way is in a roll-on bottle which I use to apply the oils to the bottoms of my feet. I also love this combination applied to my diffuser necklace so I can get the benefit of breathing them in all day long. Lastly, they are great when combined in the diffuser.

What is Lavender Essential Oil?

Lavender Essential Oil is steam distilled from the flowering tops of the lavender plant. Fun fact:  it takes 27 square feet of lavender plants to make one bottle of Young Living Lavender Essential Oil!* Lavender is known as the “Swiss Army knives of essential oils” because it is great for maintaining healthy skin and respiratory system as well as calming and relaxing your mind and body.*

How do we use Lavender?

As I mentioned above, Lavender is great when combined with Lemon essential oil and Peppermint essential oil. I like to use them in the diffuser, on my diffuser necklace or in a roll-on bottle then applied to the bottoms of my feet.

Another way that my family uses Lavender is to put a drop in our hands and just rub it on our pillows before sleep. This is great for relaxation and calming the mind and body for healthy sleep.

Being a mom of 2 little girls who like to play hard, I made a First Aid spray to help ease any skin discomfort they may experience. 😉

I also ordered the Lavender sample packets because they are very convenient to carry in my wallet for the “on-the-go” mommy emergencies!

What is Peppermint Essential Oil?

Peppermint Essential Oil is steam distilled from the leaves and stems of the Peppermint plant.* Fun fact:  it takes 1 pound of raw peppermint material to make a 15ml bottle of Young Living Peppermint Essential Oil!* Peppermint is great is promoting a healthy digestive system as well as easing head tension. You can also use it to add flavor while cooking.

How do we use Peppermint?

My favorite way to try Peppermint has been to put a couple drops in brownie batter and have YUMMY peppermint chocolate brownies! These have quickly become a guilty pleasure of mine.

We like to diffuse or apply topically using a carrier oil, we like Coconut Oil, where needed whenever we are experiencing head tension or digestion discomfort.

Again, it is really great when combined with Lemon and Lavender essential oils.

What is EndoFlex Essential Oil?

Endoflex Essential Oil is a blend of Seasame Seed Oil and Spearmint, Sage, Geranium, Myrtle, German Chamomile and Nutmeg Essential Oils.* This blend of oils is great for supporting a healthy metabolism and hormone balance.*

How do we use EndoFlex?

Since EndoFlex is a new oil for us, we haven’t tried it out in many different ways yet. So far, I like to apply topically to my neck with a carrier oil, I use Coconut Oil, to help support my Endocrine System.

You an also diffuse and take this oil internally. (Make sure you are always reading the labels on your Young Living bottles to ensure you are using them correctly.)

What is Stress Away Essential Oil?

Stress Away Essential Oil is a blend of Copaiba, Lime, Cedarwood, Vanilla, Ocotea & Lavender Essential Oils.* As the name says, Stress Away is great at reducing stress and easing tension.*

How do we use Stress Away?

This is one of my FAVORITE oils! I love the smell and because I purchased in the roll-on bottle, it is super easy to apply making it part of my daily ‘oil’ routine. I apply it to the back of my neck and massage in to ease tension, I roll it behind each ear (which helps it to absorb quickly into my system), and on my wrists as a lovely perfume. This is an oil that I carry with me daily and will apply throughout the day to reduce stress.

Young Living Lip Balm Trio

If you are looking for a natural alternative to soothing those chapped lips, look no further! This is the first time I have used Young Living’s Lip Balm and I am in love! In this kit there is Lavender, Grapefruit and Cinnamint. I love them all and couldn’t pick a favorite is you asked me. Not only do they make your lips silky smooth, they smell amazing!! Because they are all natural, I have no worries letting my girls use them too.

Why I Chose Young Living Essential Oils

Welcome to J’adore Oils and Thank You for visiting! I wanted to share with you why I chose to get involved with Young Living Essential Oils.

10 Reasons I Choose Young Living Essential Oils

Why Chose Young Living?

I love Young Living Essential Oils because they have been around for more than 20 years and they own their own farms. Anyone can visit the farms and participate in the harvest and distillation process. (This is something I hope to do in the future!)  They only use essential oils to control unwanted pests and all weed control is done by hand. Also, they have the largest selection of both single oils & oil blends. But, most importantly, they have their own Seed to Seal Guarantee.

Seed to Seal

Young Living Essential Oils Seed to Seal

Through Young Living’s rigorous Seed to Seal process, they are able to guarantee that you are receiving 100% therapeutic-grade essential oils!

Whether it’s selecting seeds that produce the highest therapeutic value (seed), remaining dedicated to growing the highest quality of aromatic plants (cultivate), ensuring that all the beneficial constituents are present to maximize the quality of oil (distill), testing each oil during various stages of distillation to determine the release of different plant constituents (test), or carefully sealing and inspecting each bottle of essential oils at their own clean-room (seal), you are sure to get the highest quality of essential oil.

Not all Essential Oils are created equal

The majority of essential oils are extracted using chemical solvents, high heat or pressure. Although the oils may still have a pleasant aromatic scent, they no longer have therapeutic value. That means that they are only suitable for perfumes & cosmetics and should never be used for therapeutic purposes.

Did you know there is no regulation on labeling essential oils. That means a bottle of oil can say “100% Pure Essential Oil”, “All Natural”, etc., but you have no way of knowing what you are actually getting.  That is so scary me!

But, because of Young Living’s Seed to Seal process, you can be sure that you are getting 100% therapeutic grade essential oils. That means they are not only great for perfumes, but they offer amazing health benefits as well. They can be used to maintain healthy skin, hair, muscles, bones and emotions. They can also be used to support your immune, respiratory, digestive, cardiovascular, hormonal and nervous systems.

All that said, Young Living Essential Oils are the only oils I will ever trust to use on my family. Click here to learn how you can begin your journey with Young Living.
